The Junior Leadership program is designed to motivate young students to develop positive qualities that will benefit the childs progress and growth in all aspects of their life, both inside and outside of the dojo. There are five categories that students must achieve within, in order to reach the level of Junior Leader. They are:

Shows Courtesy & Respect: Students are at all times courteous to others (students, parents and instructors) and are respectful of others abilities and limitations. Students must also demonstrate appropriate behaviours in class such as listening to instructions and following directions in respect to their Instructor and fellow students.

Shows Spirit in Training: Student trains to the best of their abilities and strives to better themselves through strong karate practice. They will endeavour to meet challenges set by the instructor and will demonstrate perseverance and an 'I can do it!' attitude.

Is Helpful & Friendly to Others: Students will at all times demonstrate a positive attitude to training and towards other students. Students must not show aggression or excessive egotistical behaviour that may inhibit the positive learning environment within the dojo. Students must also be willing to assist other students with their learning in a friendly and helpful manner when required to do so by the Instructor.
