The Luke Byrne School of Karate would like to invite other styles in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne to join us in helping to develop a friendly martial arts community with the shared aim of further progressing the technique and knowledge of all clubs involved.

We would like to create a Kumite (sparring) class for black belts of each style to come together to share ideas, techniques and drills an a fortnightly basis. Of course the classes would be run in a friendly manner with shared input so that all involved gets the most out of the experience.

I have personally seen models such as this work very effectively and all clubs have benefited greatly. The classes would be non-profit, the only cost would be a couple of dollars each to pay for the hall.
